Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the UPFRONT platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Nature of Service

UPFRONT is a digital agreement-binding platform designed to facilitate:

  • check_circle The creation of legally recognized contracts between Employers (Payers) and Contractors (Providers).
  • check_circle Identity verification via biometric (facial) capture.
  • check_circle The collection of administrative stamp duties.
  • check_circle Access to legal recovery counsel in the event of a breach.

payments 3. The "Stamp Duty" & Fees

Administrative Fee: Every agreement initiated on UPFRONT requires a non-refundable administrative/stamp fee of ₦1,500.

Payment Processor: Payments are handled via Paystack. UPFRONT does not store your credit card details.

Legal Standing: This fee covers the digital authentication and archival of the agreement within the UPFRONT registry.

4. Identity Verification

To ensure the integrity of the "Blacklist" and the enforceability of contracts, users are required to provide a live facial capture.

"You agree that the photo captured is a true representation of yourself. Misrepresentation or the use of static photos/AI-generated images is grounds for immediate termination."

5. Breach of Agreement & Recovery

Step 01

Open a "Case" via the UPFRONT dashboard.

Step 02

Mediation by Barr. Raymond Arinze Ruach & Partners.

Step 03

Public Registry (Blacklist) listing for defaulters.

6. Limitation of Liability

UPFRONT is not a party to individual contracts. We are not liable for the quality of contractor work, financial losses beyond recovery scope, or third-party technical interruptions.

7. Privacy and Data

Your data, including biometric captures, is encrypted and handled in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).

8. Governing Law

Governed by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, specifically the Law of Contract and the Evidence Act regarding electronic signatures.

9. Modifications

UPFRONT reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
